I finally got my school fees paid and I was able to talk to Holly again (I love her, she is always able to give me so much information) and I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with the whole situation now. Although I have to admit that I'm still nervous as fuck! I'm a very independent person most of the time and I hardly ever get myself nervous or worked up over things but the thought of going back to school makes me so uncertain! I'm excited, don't get me wrong... just nervous.
Registration is on the 31st and then I guess I have to go back to the school on September 2nd to meet my teacher and get my school books and everything. Then the self-teaching can commence! Hopefully it goes well, and I can actually do it. I'm extremely determined though, so I really don't think I have anything to worry about. =)
Wish me luck!,

For those about to rock,
Alright, so I haven't entirely decided on what to blog about today. I figured that was okay seeing as it's only, ohhh, about 10:15am. Nothing exciting has happened yet. Not aside from just waking up this morning, and realizing that I GET TO SEE ACDC TONIGHT! ...ahem. Now that that little outburst is out of the way... we can get back to other things.
...no we can't, what am I saying? I get to see ACDC tonight. A band that I have idolized since I was a child. My father basically set out to pound into my head from an early age that ACDC was it. They were the heroes of rock n' roll and boy, did he do a good job of that. From the age of probably 5 or 6 I knew all the words too "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Back In Black", and "Thunderstruck". ACDC has always been one of those classically amazing bands that many people wish they could experience in their lifetime, but not many get that chance. And here, at 18, I am going to see ACDC live in concert, on possibly their last-ever tour (they're calling it 'the show of the DECADE' on The Bear now). I may wet myself tonight, but at least I'm giving y'all fair warning!
Aha, my mama is here to take me downtown to pay my fees. Hopefully that same braindead bitch that I dealt with last time isn't there again... because if she is then believe me, you'll hear about it later!

Fun in the sun,
First of all, you're probably asking yourself why I've decided to start a blog (that's if there's even anyone reading this in the first place), and to be perfectly honest I couldn't tell you. I figure it's one of three reasons; firstly, I like to write and don't really get to do much of it, so I figure this is as good a place to do that as any. Secondly, I haven't had any time off of work in almost 2 years and now that I do, I'm just THAT bored. Or thirdly, blogging has become the trend of the 21st century and I have decided to go along for the ride.
Whatever the reason, this is my blog. This is where people can read the pointless rambling and ranting from the mind of Meghan. Sound exciting? ...if you say so.
I went to the beach today. Alberta Beach, to be exact. Went with my best friend, Miss Rheanna B. Packed a huge picnic lunch (way too much food, but what else is new?), packed up the water toys, the towels, the sunscreen, a good read or two... and off we went. Drove the hour or so down to the beach, both so excited to be able to bake in the sun for the first time in, well, too long. And lo and behold... the weather was shitty. It was windy as fuck, too chilly to even dip our toes into the freaking lake! Just my luck. As happy as I was to get out there, to spend some time on an actual beach... it was quite a let-down. But hey, I spent some quality time with the bff (for those of you who are behind on the lingo that would be 'best friend forevaaaaa!') so I guess it wasn't a total loss.
Other than that I can't think of anything else that y'all need to be updated on. Yes, I lead a rather boring life. I am well aware of this fact thank you very much.
Until next time!,
Meghan
ps. Is it sad that I almost signed this "xoxo, gossip girl"?? ...wait, don't answer that question.
pps. ACDC live at Commonwealth Stadium tomorrowwww! <3
ppps. Why is it that I always think of more to stay after I've already started the first 'ps'?
